Chakras

Ok so what is a Chakra?

The easiest explanation is that they are your energy centres. We mainly focus on the 7 main ones that run down our spine.

I am going to give you an explanation of them from a book I have by Caroline Shola Arewa. She explains them like this.

Chakras are your Gift Of Divinity. They are your inner GOD.

The very essence of who you are. Chakras are responsible for creating and maintaining your very existence. They are energy centres – vibrating wheels of cosmic light that bring physical form into being. Without chakras we would not be here.

Now another controversial subject on chakras is whether you can open and close your chakras. Can you close your chakras?

Well I always believed that yes you could open and close your chakras, but I decided to look further into it, and this is what I came up with. But please remember this is just my thoughts.

You can not close your chakras. What makes your blood pump round your body? Your heart. What makes your heart Beat? ENERGY. What makes electricity? ENERGY. The chakras are connected to the endocrine system, which helps maintain your glands, hormone system, and metabolic system. Metabolic system is energy.

We are energy, the planet and everything on it is energy. We would not be here if it system is energy. We are energy, the planet and everything on it is energy. We would not be here if it wasn’t for energy. We need food (energy source) to survive, so how can we survive if we close down our chakras. They are what makes us. If we had no energy, we wouldn’t be here.

Chakra means wheel in Sanskrit and refers to cone shaped vortices of energy, which spin and vibrate within the energy body

We have 7 major chakras, twenty one minor, 49 minute and countless miniscule chakras

The 7 main ones run from the base of the spine to the top of the head.

The chakras affect how we are in mind body and spirit. It is through the chakras that these aspects of your being are connected and can be aligned and balanced. They are not in your physical body, but a part of the subtle energy body.

Chakras should be looked at as a whole and not on their own. Each one affects the other. Energy flows from crown to root and back again.

Chakra meditations are great. Visualising each chakra and seeing it fully open and spinning at full speed. I also use the OM. It’s great for wakening the chakras up. When you do the OM properly, it vibrates down all the chakras. It really does work and I always feel great after it.

There is a lot more to the Chakra system than I have here. Its a very in depth subject, so I would suggest that you get yourself a book to learn more
