Crystals to use during Reiki Treatments
Reiki combined with crystals, can be very powerful. It can be used at any level of Reiki, but it will be more powerful after the 2nd degree attunement, as you will have the symbols to use. With the symbols you can charge crystals to make them more powerful. You can also use them when sending distance healing.
There is also another form of Reiki that I do called Ethereal Crystal Reiki. With this form of Reiki you don’t actually need the crystals, you just visualise them and say its name, then focus on the area that you want the crystal to go into. You have to be a Usui master before you can receive this attunement.
There are many crystals that are said to work well with Reiki, but some of these are hard to find, or are too expensive.
A clear quartz can be programmed to channel any other type of crystal that you cant get.
If you get yourself a crystal bible, you can go through that, and find which stones are good for certain symptoms.
You can also buy chakra healing kits. These will contain 7 (or more) crystals, one for each chakra.
have also placed stones at the feet to help with grounding (smoky quartz), carnelian on the knees and also put stones into the clients hands (left hand pyrite and right hand moonstone)
I have also seen people putting a bloodstone between the ankles. I haven’t tried this as yet.
Ok here are just a few of the crystals you can use, but there are many more available than this.
Crown
Charoite, Kunzite, Rock Crystal, quartz, amethyst, moonstone
3rd Eye
Amethyst, Lepidolite, Purple Fluorite, lolite, charoite, labradorite, sodalite,
Throat
Sapphire, Sodalite, Turquoise, blue topaz, angelite, blue lace agate, labradorite, Turqurenite, blue / green obsidian
Heart
Aventurine, Emerald, Jade, Malachite, peridot, chrysoprase, rose quartz, Rhodonite, Ruby in Zoisite, unakite, blue / green obsidian
Solar Plexus
Iron Pyrites, Rurilated Quartz, Yellow Amber, Topaz, Citrine, Labradorite, Red Tigers Eye
Sacral
Sunstine, Tigers Eye, Orange Jasper, Carnelian, Topaz, Calcite
Root

Malachite is an all rounder, clear quartz, dyed quartz, apophylite.
Moldavite is very powerful. I use this one quite a bit. But make sure you don't over do it with this one, as it can leave you or your client feeling spaced out.
Cleansing Crystals
It is very important to cleanse your crystals when you get them, as they easily absorb the energy from people who held them before you.
There are many ways of doing this, here are some examples.
You are limited in level 1 with this, so the only way you can do it at the moment is to hold the crystal or crystals in your hand and send them reiki, and intend for them to be cleansed.
With level 2 reiki, you can draw the power symbol over it, saying its name 3 times and intend for the crystal to be cleansed.
You can also leave them in the sun or moon, or cleanse with water.
Some stones have the ability to cleanse others, so if you use tumble stones, keep a carnelian or clear quartz in the bag, and you wont have to cleanse them again. You can also use smudging.

Energising Crystals
Energise your crystals at least once a fortnight, depending how often you are using them for treatments.
With level 1 hold your crystals in your hand and intend that they are filled with healing energy, love and happiness
With level 2 draw all 3 symbols over your crystals individually and says its mantra 3 times, intending that they be filled with unlimited reiki
You can also energise them by placing in the sun, or moon light, and salt water.
Remember to always say thank you to the crystals for the work they have done.
Programming your Crystals
After cleansing you can programme your crystals to help with a certain ailment or what ever.
I have only done this with one set of crystals I have. I have programmed them to help with stress, upset, matters of the heart etc.
I keep this ones separate from my others. My other set are just filled with reiki, and to assist where ever needed. To do this at first degree level just hold crystal in your hands and intend that the crystal will work with reiki for the good health, wealth and happiness of everyone it connects with physically and mentally.
With level 2 just programme it the same way as you did for energising it.
If you programme a crystal state that it be used to the highest good of all. May it used in light and love.
Treatment
It is recommended that your client receives at least 4 reiki/crystal treatments.
Treatment time is speeded up by using crystals, it will cut the time by half. So treatment of 35 minutes is all that is needed. You only need to treat the front with crystals.
To do the treatment itself, just hold your hand an inch or two above the crystal and chakra, and hold it for a few minutes. At the end, remember to do the brush down just the same as you would with a normal treatment.
Just experiment with the crystals yourself. But just be wary that some might not work well, and could leave your client feeling worse that they were when you started.
You can also programme crystals for friends to carry around. Either fill it with reiki energy or ask that it help with a certain ailment or issue.
